Solar Eclipse

Reading Time: 1 minute

Tomorrow, there will be a Solar Eclipse partial visible during my area. For a brief moment, the Moon will be in line with the Sun blocking it from Earth.

According to TimeandDate.com between 1:11 pm and 3:51pm it will be visible in my area. Hopefully I will be able to witness this when it occurs. If not for the next Solar Eclipse to happen in my area would be June 10th, 2021 and it would be another partial for my area. Maybe in between that time, I might be in a different area and able to view it from a different perspective.

After this Solar Eclipse, the next eclipse would be a partial Lunar eclipse happening January 31st, 2018. And after that another year later on January 20th, 2019 is the next eclipse view-able in my area.

Take a look at https://www.timeanddate.com/eclipse/ and type your location in to see when the next eclipses are in your area.

August Releases

Reading Time: 1 minute

August is a slower month than normal for releases but here is what I am looking forward to this month.

Video Games
Coming out of beta on the 8th of the month is LawBreakers releasing on PC and Playstation 4. From the few matches I have played during the beta, it brings an interesting take on first person shooter games, in a genre currently being dominated by Overwatch.
Later on in the month on the 15th, releases Sonic Mania. Sonic Mania will be a celebration of the 25th anniversary of Sonic the Hedgehog. A week later, released Uncharted: The Lost Legacy. The Uncharted series, is one of the first games I purchased when I started gaming on the Playstation consoles, so I will be continuing the story line with this game.
Normally, I don’t get excited about the new Madden NFL football games but with the introduction of a story mode, I will definitely be taking a spin at that mode to test it out.
At the end of the month on the 29th, Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle comes out. Having never played a game in the Rabbids franchise, when I first saw this game at E3 I was definitely intrigued by its concept.

Take a look back at what released in July.
